9. Inactive Roster:

9.1  When a player is marked with an IR, Out, Doubtful or Questionable or on the PUP. Or a player is suspended or indicated as Inactive for an upcoming game for whatever reason by their NFL Team an owner may have an expanded roster by placing the player in the Two Inactive Roster spots if they are open. IR moves occur between when players are listed on the weekly IR report until their game time.  You have to wait until the list comes out before using an IR slot.  The list usually comes out on  NFL.com.  The only exception is prior to week one when we have expanded rosters and the first list hasn't come out to start the season but players are obviously out and any news article suggesting a player is out for week 1 will do to start the season.

9.2  We use NFL.com's official weekly release so it is the owner's responsibility to check the report and either drop the person in the IR roster slot or another player off the active roster.  If an owner does not drop the ineligible IR player by game time his official roster will reflect the lineup from the previous week for the effected positions, until the owner comes under the legal roster size.

9.3 An Owner must communicate via the League Message board who is being placed on IR and who is added.  Any player added without a message post will be dropped from team.

10. Practice Squad:

10.1 Practice squad rosters may only be filled during the rookie draft or from a trade from one owner's practice squad to another owners practice squad.

10.2 Players on practice squads may stay on the practice squad forever but once a player is ever activated then that player can no longer fill a practice squad slot.
