| Good Job HOPw's Hatriq.HOPw here to fill you all in on a Q3team dm scrimmage we had on Tuesday night at about 8:20pm pacific std time with Clan BC. The scrimmage was all for fun and that's exactly what we did is have fun. Scores for the scrimmage were as follows Clan BC = Krosys=24 Ender=23 Ebomb=15 Mike=12 Clan HOPw = Crater=31 Dforce=21 Calesta=14 Hatriq=7. The scrimmage was played on Q3DM7 and was a close match all the way with them leading most of the scrimmage but us controlling quad for most of the time. I got disconnected 6 times during the match and had to go out and come back in each time, (boy ya gotta love my connect LOL). Over all I think we did well with no real strategy being used except to kill a lot of them heheh. Clan BC had to get going so we didn't get a chance to play more than the one map I'm sorry to say but was fun never the less. I hope to schedule more scrimmages to get us playing more in a team environment and hope that more HOPw's will want to participate. The final score was clan BC=74 Clan HOPw=69 GG GUYS |

Well Hatriq, Weezer and I are at the Lansanity LAN in Portland Oregon. I just purchased quake last week so this was my first time playing. Needless to say I couldn't even recognize what was a weapon versus a ammo pack. They held one on one brackets for 64 players with the better players seeded against the worse players. I volunteered to be seeded 64 versus number one. I ended up playing a:pureluck from clan abuse. He was pretty cool and offered for me to choose the map. However I declined and told him to pick whatever he wanted to practice. He choose the smallest map so there was a really rapid frag count on me. I was pretty happy to get one actual frag on him. It was a good rocket shot too the floor. I fell in the lava twice and blew myself up 3 other times so did not end up with a positive total. Demo from my view and demo from pureluck's view. Weezer played on q3dm6 a larger map and he played vs a:revelation of Clan Abuse. Weezer was playing pretty well and should of got a frag. However he ended up 34 to -3. But revelation got out of quite a few possible frags. I couldn't believe a few that should have been frags. Demo from Weezer's view and demo from revelation's view. Hatriq also played q3dm6 and got quite a few frags I think he was positive 4 at one time but he ended up 29 to -3 for the final vs 2ur.Dr.nick. All the demo's are here. Pureluck has some very nice demo's from the final rounds. After the tourney matches we played a bit of q1, q3 ffa and a team q3 game. It was a pretty fun LAN. Hello all fellow members of Clan HOPw, This message is to give me an idea of fellow members that are active and that are wanting to start playing team matches in Q3 , whether it be Team DM or CTF . Those that are interested must realize that we will be having practices a couple times a month maybe more and that you will have a responsibility of some what learning or asking questions about maps that we will be choosing as our team play maps . Team work is what its all about and as ffa is fun to play we need to get together as a team and make a effort to actually play as one . We all know that losing isn't the optimal finishing spot we would like to have but at the same time winning is not the most important either . Having fun is what its all about and if we play as a team even if we loose it will be because the other team out played us and not because we were just running around playing ffa in a team type game . I have a feeling that once we learn to work together we might just surprise ourselves and start winning . We just have to want to learn .
